First Post!

Welcome to my new home. Admittedly, I'm not a professional blogger. I know some people out there who write more than 10 posts a day. Unfortunately, I don't have that kind of time to commit to daily blog. I do love writing and reading though (bullshitting and wasting valuable time that should be dedicated to studying to be exact). Well, you might be thinking,"Why did she move her blog?".

Let me start with some historical facts. I had my first blog 2 years ago. Yeah I started blogging late. It's called Visual Journal, one of the most boring titles I ever thought of. It was just an assignment at school for one of the courses I took. I was supposed to post on that blog the stuff I made over time, design-focused discussions, and whatever I could bullshit. I have bullshitted most of my way through college actually (and it's a skill that you would like to acquire in order to survive college). So that one was more or less an obligation. You did it or you failed! Then I had 3 other blogs for other courses I took later. My real personal blog was on Yahoo! 360° (hmm should I use the past tense? I just used it yesterday!). I started it in December 2005. However, I didn't write much. I left it in the dust for more than half of the time I used it. There you could find things about me, what I was doing, my interests, my works, and some ramblings about life, blah blah blah. I don't really know if anyone liked reading my blog either.

Anyways, I moved my blog to TypePad for two reasons. Firstly, Yahoo! 360° looks so messy, sloppy, inflexible, and buggy. I wanted to switch to another blogging service long time ago but was not serious enough to do that. Besides, I had more friends on yahoo than on any other platforms. That Y!M is the most popular messenger in Vietnam is the reason for this. Secondly, I want to have something fresh to start with after I get out of college. Graduation. From here on out, I'm no longer a little college kid. The birth of a new blog would be great to mark a new phase in my life, I guess. Additionally, I will keep this new blog neat, and a bit more serious. I'll write more about my profession/career here, and less about my too personal world. Hope I will be able to entertain you from time to time. So let's roll...

Sincerely,

Hang
